Facade Access Solutions supports building owners, developers and contractors across the United Arab Emirates. Our UAE teams plan, install and maintain permanent facade access solutions for high-rise towers and complex facades across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah and the wider Gulf. We stay with each project from the design stage to long-term service.
The UAE eye-catching facade brings demands that few other markets share. Extreme heat above 45°C, fine desert dust, salt-laden coastal humidity and seasonal Shamal winds push facade access equipment to its limits. Our building maintenance solutions and rope access systems are engineered to operate reliably under these conditions, keeping iconic Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi safe and accessible year-round.
We are part of Alimak Group, a global leader in facade access. More than 1,000 employees and 39 global locations stand behind every UAE project. Over 16,000 units installed worldwide back our track record.
Our UAE product range covers permanent access systems for buildings of every height. We draw on the Tractel, Manntech and CoxGomyl brands each offering unique technologies and features designed to meet different customer needs, and to match the right system to each facade.
Building Maintenance Units travel along the roof to give safe, repeatable access across large facades. Each BMU is engineered to the building geometry and roof load. In UAE Dubai, where curved curtain walls, deep setbacks, and supertall heights are now standard, our BMUs reach every corner of the envelope while withstanding heat and dust.
Our davit systems suit smaller roofs and intermittent access needs. They transfer working loads safely into the building structure. Many UAE hotels, villas and mid-rise commercial towers rely on davits as a cost-efficient permanent solution for rooftop access.
A monorail carries a cradle along a fixed track for atria, soffits and recessed facades. Railscaf adds a flexible track-based option for harder geometries. Mall atria, mixed-use podiums, Residential buildings, Airports and shaded undersides across Dubai often use monorail systems to reach areas that a roof-mounted BMU cannot access.
Rope-access and fall-protection system for facade work. They support safe access where a full machine is not required. Rope access systems are common across buildings in the UAE, and our range of rope access systems including rails, anchors and foldable compact davits systems are specified to handle corrosion loads in the coastal Gulf climate.
Our powered platforms run on permanent guide rails for steady vertical travel. They give reliable access on tall, repetitive elevations. On Dubai supertall residential and hotel towers, powered platforms keep maintenance cycles short and predictable across thousands of square metres of glass.
We support a building across its full life. Our UAE solutions cover new towers, design-stage planning and upgrades to existing systems.
For new construction, we design and install facade access systems that fit the architecture from day one.
Our integrated design services bring access planning into the early design phase. This keeps systems compliant and hidden within the building line. On signature UAE towers, early integration also addresses sand exposure, thermal expansion and crane runway lengths before they become site problems.
Our retrofit services add to or upgrade access systems on existing buildings without disrupting tenants. Many first-generation UAE high-rises now need a second-life solution as original equipment reaches the end of its service life.
Beyond facades, we also deliver infrastructure access solutions for bridges, tunnels and nuclear facilities.
Our services keep access systems safe, compliant and ready to use. We service our own equipment and systems from other manufacturers.
Our service solutions cover planned maintenance and call-outs to keep systems running.
Our inspection, safety and compliance service checks systems against UAE codes and international standards, including All Emirates’ Municipality safety rules and the federal building safety framework.
Our refurbishment solutions extend the lifespan of aging BMUs and platforms by replacing components and controls. This is a practical route for older UAE towers that need to meet current safety expectations without a full system replacement.
Genuine OEM spare parts keep older systems reliable and compliant.
Our asset management service tracks inspection records and service history in one place. The new UAE digital building management system makes this kind of central record-keeping more important than ever.
Our training prepares operators and competent persons to use systems safely.
Facade Access Solutions UAE delivers facade access systems supporting commercial towers, mixed-use developments, hotels, and complex architectural projects. Our local team manages projects from design coordination through to installation, commissioning, and ongoing service support.
Our engineers and project managers work closely with consultants, contractors, and developers to deliver compliant access solutions. Backed by more than 120 years of combined industry experience, 16,000+ installed machines worldwide, and over 300 projects delivered annually, we combine proven global engineering capability with dedicated local project delivery and technical support in the UAE.
Tractel, Manntech, and CoxGomyl, each bring distinct technologies and features, ensuring we have the right solution for every application, and clients gain access to a broad portfolio of facade access systems through one UAE-based team. This allows us to specify the right solution for each project, with the engineering and manufacturing support of Alimak Group behind every system.

Permanent facade access equipment in the UAE typically follows EN 1808:2015, which calls for an annual load test, a thorough six-monthly inspection and quarterly visual checks by a competent person. Dubai Municipality also requires periodic facade and building safety reviews under Law No. 3 of 2026 on the Quality and Safety of Buildings. A summary of the codes, regulations and standards that apply to permanent access systems is available on our website.
Key references include EN 1808:2015 for suspended access equipment and EN 795 for anchor devices. Dubai Building Code, Dubai Municipality safety regulations, the UAE Fire and Life Safety Code and Abu Dhabi HSE requirements also apply. IRATA International guidance covers rope-access operations.
Yes. Our UAE service teams maintain and inspect systems from many brands. Genuine spare parts and refurbishment keep older units safe and compliant.
Yes. We bring access planning into the design stage so that systems stay compliant and well-integrated. For UAE projects, that includes wind load, sand abrasion and roof crane runways from the first drawing.
Our equipment is built to handle the heat, dust, humidity and salt-air loads typical of the Gulf. We specify corrosion-resistant materials, sealed control systems, and protective coatings that withstand UV exposure and Shamal-driven sandstorms. Local service teams also adjust maintenance intervals to suit each building’s exposure profile.
We deliver complete rope access solutions backed by one of the industry’s highest-quality product portfolios and a team of experienced specialists. Our experts support every stage of the project, from engineering and design through project management, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and long-term maintenance. With a proven track record of delivering projects entirely in-house, we provide a single point of responsibility, ensuring safe, reliable, and high-performance solutions tailored to each building.
