Building strong relationships has been a common thread throughout Luke Blaney’s career. From quality inspections and project management to his current role as Technical Account Manager at Façade Access Solutions, he has always been motivated by the opportunity to solve problems, support clients, and deliver meaningful results.
Today, Luke supports the Service sector of the business, working closely with clients to help them get the most from their façade access systems. His role involves maintaining strong customer relationships, supporting smooth contract renewals, and understanding the factors that drive long-term customer satisfaction. He also focuses on reconnecting with former clients and sites that have transitioned to competitors, helping them rediscover the value of Façade Access Solutions’ technical expertise and service capabilities.
For Luke, joining FAS was about finding a role that aligned with both his professional ambitions and personal values. As he explains, “I wanted a role where I could build strong working relationships, help solve practical challenges and make a real difference while continuing to develop my own skills.” That desire to create meaningful connections while delivering practical solutions continues to shape the way he approaches his work today.
Luke’s career path has taken him through several industries, each contributing valuable experience to the role he holds today. He began his professional journey in quality inspections for medical device manufacturing, where precision, consistency, and attention to detail were essential. He later transitioned into project management within the point-of-sale industry, working with major retail brands across the UK to oversee the production of display units featured in major retail environments.
Reflecting on his experience, Luke describes the point-of-sale sector as “a very demanding and quality-focused industry.” Working in such a fast-paced environment taught him the importance of maintaining high standards, managing complex projects, and meeting client expectations. Those experiences helped develop the communication, organization, and problem-solving skills that he now applies in his work with clients across the façade access industry.
Today, his diverse background enables him to approach client challenges from multiple perspectives. Whether supporting existing customers or helping former clients rediscover the value of FAS services, Luke brings a practical, solutions-focused mindset to every conversation.
What excites Luke most about his role is the opportunity to contribute to an industry with significant potential while helping clients achieve successful outcomes.
“There are so many opportunities for us as an industry,” he says. “The rush of excitement and drive when we have the opportunity in front of us really does keep me going.”
That enthusiasm is reflected in the way he approaches client relationships. Rather than focusing solely on individual projects or contracts, Luke is committed to building lasting partnerships that deliver ongoing value.
Looking ahead, one of his key goals is to strengthen collaboration across the business and help clients better understand the full breadth of expertise available within Façade Access Solutions.
“It’s not just one person you are dealing with,” Luke explains. “You have an entire team here at FAS who have the solutions to a client’s unique situation.”
By highlighting the collective knowledge and capabilities of the business, he hopes to ensure clients benefit from the full range of support available across the organization. For Luke, collaboration is not just an internal goal; it is a way to create better outcomes for customers and reinforce the value that FAS delivers every day.
Outside of work, Luke enjoys pursuing new interests and embracing new challenges. Recently, he has taken up longbow archery, a hobby that has quickly become a passion and one that he hopes to take even further by crafting his own bow in the future.
When he’s not practicing archery, Luke enjoys immersing himself in fantasy and science-fiction books and films. Whether reading a few chapters at the end of a busy day or revisiting a favorite story, these interests provide an opportunity to relax and recharge.
Travel is another passion, and Luke is always eager to discover new places and experiences. One destination remains firmly at the top of his bucket list.
“One of my true aims is to get to New Zealand and see the fantastic sights the country has to offer,” he says.
As Façade Access Solutions continues to support building owners, facility managers, and contractors across a wide range of industries, roles like Luke’s are essential in ensuring clients receive not only technical expertise but also the ongoing support needed to maximize the performance and longevity of their façade access systems.
Serving as a trusted point of contact, Luke helps strengthen relationships between clients and the wider FAS team. By understanding customer needs, identifying opportunities for improvement, and connecting clients with the right specialists across the business, he plays an important role in turning challenges into practical solutions.
His commitment to collaboration, service excellence, and continuous improvement reflects the values that drive Façade Access Solutions forward. As Luke continues to grow in his role, his ability to build lasting partnerships and deliver value for clients will remain an important part of the team’s success.
